OK 2.5
Released 11 years after the monster success of Terminator 2, this third chapter in the legendary franchise suffers from the absence of visionary director James Cameron and star Linda Hamilton.
****SPOILER ALERT****
After supposedly stopping Judgment Day, John Connor lives a life on the road with no phone, no home, and no identity. He just keeps riding on, working odd jobs and trying to run away from his future. When Skynet sends two more terminators back through time(one to protect John, the other to kill him), he learns that he never stopped Judgment Day, he just postponed it. With future cohort Kate Brooster in tow, Connor and the Terminator attempt to stop Judgment Day once again. Only to learn they were never meant to stop Judgment Day, just survive it.The film has its good moments, but its just a rehash of the previous film. Its not a bad film, but it certainly lowers the bar.

OK 2.5
Without Arnie, this movie wouldn’t work one little bit. He MADE the movie. Kristanna Loken shows little emotion as the TX, she merely smiles at moments. But she is nothing compared to Robert Patrick’s intense portrayal of the T-1000. Nick Stahl was by far the weakest actor to portray Connor. He’s not God awful, but like some other actors his age, he’s just too bland. Claire Danes shows some fire power as Kate Brooster, yet sometimes come off as a whiney little b**ch.

Good 3.0
This film completely looses the Sci-Fi feel of the original films. The action is mostly just chase scenes and explosions, mainly because that’s director Jonathan Mostow’s speciality. I personally had a problem with some of the special effects, when I was looking at Arnold’s decapitated head, I couldn’t help but think “That is SO fake!” Its the same problem with the Superman films, the first three films had great special effects, but the fourth was just bad. The dialogue is a little silly, mostly filled with in jokes and references to the first two films.

Risqué 2.5
I couldn’t help but be aroused by Loken’s naked a**. She’s the sexiest part of the movie. The fight scenes can be a little brutal and the two suffer from some battle scars. There are also people getting blown away by that gun that just comes outta nowhere.
