  1. Quality
  2. Great 4.0

Scorcese deviates from the scriptures in this exploration in to the tale of Jesus, played magnificently by William Dafoe. Dramatic, epic, and done with great cinematic flair, this movie is sure to remain in the record books as an all time great.

  3. Great 4.0

William Dafoe can’t be beat as an enigmatic Jesus, and Harvey Keitel shows great dramatic flair as Judas. Also to be mentioned is Barbara Hershey as Mary Magdalene

  4. Male Stars Great 4.0
  5. Female Stars Great 4.0
  6. Female Costars Great 4.0
  7. Male Costars Great 4.0
  8. Really Great 4.5

I’m sure Scorcese ruffled a few religious feathers with this film — which portrays Jesus as more human than is typically thought. I think most should never-mind, and focus on the great film it is, with all its excellent scenery, cinemetography, and blend of dramatic emphasis.
