  1. Quality
  2. Great 4.0

Kubric puts out a dark comedy masterpiece with Dr. Stangelove… Mistakes and political errors send the world toward nuclear holocaust. If it wasn’t for the ever-present satire, one just might take this movie as a horror/thriller. And the humor is deeply effective. How am I so sure? Even though it is 2009 now, It even made my 16 year old son and his friends laugh…

  3. Perfect 5.0

Peter Sellers is absolutely at the top of his game in this film. A true example of just how dynamic he was. It is a must see for any of his fans. Backed up by a great performance by George C Scott and a hilarious show by Sterling Hayden — this movie knocks it out of the park in the casting department.

  4. Male Stars Perfect 5.0
  5. Female Stars Perfect 5.0
  6. Female Costars Perfect 5.0
  7. Male Costars Perfect 5.0
  8. Great 4.0

A lot of reviews I read say that this is Kubric’s best — and it is hard to argue. A serious subject interwoven with satire results in a movie that is as entertaining as you’ll ever likely experience on film.

  9. Direction Great 4.0
  10. Play Great 4.0
  11. Music Great 4.0
  12. Visuals Great 4.0
  13. Content

  17. Rudeness Polite 1.3
  18. Glib 1.9
  19. Circumstantial Glib 1.9
  20. Biological Glib 1.9
  21. Physical Glib 1.9
