  1. Quality
  2. OK 2.5

A cute movie that centers around Michelle Pfeiffer (“Rosie”), who fakes her age to ensure she won’t lose the attention of “Adam” (Paul Rudd). Lots of funny moments in this movie makes it enjoyable, and for those of you who are bigger fans of the romantic comedy shtick, you won’t be dissappointed.

  3. Good 3.0

Michelle Pfeiffer is the penultimate actress, performing with grace, humor, and wit. You could put her in any film like this, and she could transform mediocre writing into something watchable. Paul Rudd makes a decent sidekick, and the rest of the cast does a very decent job. Loved Fred Willard, who (as Wick mentions) could make anything funny. I expected more from Tracy Ulman. The concept of her acting like “Mother Nature” was funny, but somehow it didn’t work for me.

  4. Male Stars Good 3.0
  5. Female Stars Good 3.0
  6. Female Costars Good 3.0
  7. Male Costars Good 3.0
  8. OK 2.5

I found myself easily distracted and losing focus while trying to watch this movie at home, in part because the dialog and story itself wander around a bit and seem more formulaic than innovative. But, as I mention above, it does follow from Heckerling’s earlier work like Clueless, so fans of that won’t be dissappointed.

  9. Direction OK 2.5
  10. Play OK 2.5
  11. Music OK 2.5
  12. Visuals OK 2.5
  13. Content
  14. Risqué 1.7
  15. Sex Titillating 1.7
  16. Violence Fierce 1.7
  17. Rudeness Salty 1.7
  18. Glib 2.0
  19. Circumstantial Glib 2.0
  20. Biological Glib 2.0
  21. Physical Glib 2.0
