  1. Quality
  2. Pretty Bad 1.5

A run-of-the-mill action adventure movie about “Farmer” (Jason Statham) who journeys to rescue his kidnapped wife and seek revenge for the death of his son by the Krugs, a sort of part-animal warrior race. Wait for it on TV when there is nothing else on.

  3. Awful 0.0

You sort of get an impression that the actors would do much better with a decent script — but it is hard to tell. Jason Statham is a mainstay in this sort of macho fighting action flick, but also notable is Ron Perlman as his sidekick and Matthew Lillard as a combatant duke. Ray Liotta looks the part but doesn’t show much effort in the role of the evil King Gallian. Burt Reynolds has a role as the king of the good guys, but the acting wasn’t notable at all.

Decent scenery, costumes, etc. But the story was cheesy. A complete budget film feel.
