   Denzel does a reasonable job as a bad-guy-you-want-to-root-for ex assassin on a vigilante mission. The movie drags on too long, but has its moments as a tug at your heart-strings human interest story as well as a macho take no prisoners action film.

4. Acting

   Good 3.0

   Denzel fits well into the vigilante tough guy role. Christopher Walken, always a favorite, plays the likeable mentor. Dakota Fanning acts much older than her age, but is somehow believable anyway, and her interaction with Denzel exhibited a chemistry that also made you believe that a 10 year old could touch the heart of a salty ex criminal.

    Barely OK 2.0

    The movie Spends nearly and hour building the relationship between Dakota and Denzel, and it was an hour well spent. Not only was that engaging by itself, but by the time the real action starts happening, you are now much more emotionally involved in the outcome and will find yourself rivited to what ensues. The remainder of the movie higlights Snipe’s vigilantism, which admitedely has you rooting for him, but I feel moves too slowly.
