Great 4.0
Loved it. As others have said, this movie gets as close as possible to the cartoon as possible while still using real characters — and if you actually watched those old cartoons like I did when you were a kid, you’ll soon be flashing back. I was pleasantly surprised just how true to the theme of the cartoon this movie was.

Good 3.0
Emile Hirsch did a decent job, and the chices of Goodman as Pops, Sarandon as mom, Scott Porter as Rex, and Christina Ricci as Tracie were very well placed – but perhaps not made enough use of. The additional cast representing Spritle, Sparky, and Chim-Chim was a nice (and necessary) touch.

I thought movie was not of the quality that all the hype and advertising it got . expected more and got less. the visual effects is all that it had going for it. Its a very good thing that I didnt have to pay to see this one . would have wanted my money back. Even the acting was of low quality. my thoughts; poor excuse for a movie |
