A quirky independant horror film about the scientifically interested loner Adam who is intrigued by the requests of doctor Vic, who lures him up to a remote mountain cabin where Frankenstein-esque experiments are carried out. I think the movie gives away things in the beginning that I would have expected would have been held back. Interestingly enough, “Vic” resembles Jack Nicholson, and the remote mountainous region in the snow resembles the backdrop of “The Shining.” Unfortunately, despite the thrill/suspense sequences associated with the fact that Adam gets understandably weirdly affected by being experimented on, this film is devoid of interesting plot until near the end when there are some interesting twists — but just barely.
