Good 3.0
This movie was entertaining and engaging, albeit a bit humdrum for the likes of Micheal Caine and Demi Moore. Caine fits as a loveable but cunning older janitor with a great idea, and Demi plays a professionally passed-over and now disgruntled negotiator at a London Diamond dealer. A fairly simple yet plausible heist ensues rather quickly during the course of the movie, leaving the plot to focus on the search for the bad guys.
A few twists and turns keeps you focused, but otherwise this movie should probably be relegated to the “bored on Sunday afternoon” set. For those of you who pay attention to period accuracy – this movie does a great job of portreying the 50’s mannerisms and surroundings without being too over the top. -
Good 3.0
Demi and Michael do an admirable job, but lets just say that “they weren’t challenged” with this script.
