Really Great 4.5
What a fun movie. One of the best comic-book hero movies I have seen, and definitely the best Batman. Heath Ledger was the definite standout as the Joker. I can’t imagine another actor who could have better portrayed the deeply disturbed bad man. Great special effects, and an excellent story line brought in all the facets of a great movie: action, drama, crime, good vs. evil, love, jealousy, and humor. I loved the twists and turns. My only complaint is that I think they stretched it out just a teeny bit too long. This movie is a definite must see!

I gotta say, Wick, as far as movies go, I’d say 2008 was the best year for movies since 1994 and movies such as “The Dark Knight”, “Slumdog Millionaire”, “The Wrestler”, and “Milk” prove my point. |
