  1. Quality
  2. Very Good 3.5

This documentary profiles the successes and setbacks of a group of guys starting a company in the heat of the mid nineties dot com gold rush. As an entreprenuer myself, it did a good job of capturing many of the milestones a typical startup goes through. The movie is entertaining in that the viewer becomes vested in the success of these guys — it is not a “how to do it” documentary, rather a story about one swing at the fence.

  3. Pretty Bad 1.5

These aren’t actors. It’s a pretty random selection of people, and most of us aren’t really that interesting in real life, nor are most of the protagonists in this documentary all that interesting. This movie is more about what it is like to be in the maelstrom of a start-up, and perhaps a “period piece” of the wild web 1.0 gold rush days.
