Perfect 5.0
Who knew that in 2015 we could produce a space movie to keep up with the all time greats? Well, Ridley Scott did it. The Martian tugs at you from several directions. Think Apollo 11 meets Gravity meets Cast Away. Talk about awesome: Matt Daemon and a great supporting cast take us through oh-shit moments, despondency, hope, and goosebump-producing team spirit. As Matt’s character Mark Watney says in the film: “I’m going to science the hell of out of this!” and the geek adventurers in all of us rejoiced as a mostly plausible story unfolds. Enjoy!
