Perfect 5.0
A lavish Hitchcock treat, full of glamour, suspense and wit. The establishing scene is a virtuoso display of filmmaking all by itself, while Grace Kelly graces – there is no other word for it – the silver screen like a goddess amongst mortals.
-
Really Great 4.5
Jimmy Stewart’s characteristic self-deprecation deftly lightens the mood, even as evidence of murder mounts in front of him, while Raymond Burr makes for a memorable heavy and Grace Kelly shows why she is one of the all time most beautiful movie queens.
