Good 3.0
I guess I really didn’t expect too much, but despite the star power of Chris Pine, Keira Knightly, and Kevin Costner – it just didn’t wow me. It suffered from an identity crisis as well. Was Jack Ryan a numbers guy, or was he a kick ass spy? The movie tries to make him both – which just didn’t work. But, someone did kick-ass, and that was Kenneth Branaugh as the nastily flawed Russian bad guy. Bottom line is that it is good enough for the big screen, but not good enough to create a lasting impression.
