Good 3.0
From his beginnings as a son of a white British man and native-Jamaican mom, playing music in the streets with hollowed metal boxes and strings in Trenchtown, watching Marley and how the man was molded was amazing and added depth to the music he was famous for creating later in life. Not just music, but an entire movement followed from wherever he went. The story of his understated leadership, ability to bring feelings of peace amidst all kinds of tension, and the immense respect people had for him brought goosebumps. As with any band, there was drama – like the fact that he had so many relationships and kids, or didn’t follow everyone’s political leanings. The unique difference is everyone’s reaction was the same: the power of the person was greater than the power of the convention that he did not follow.

Perfect 5.0
You can’t make up someone like Bob Marley; I’ve always been taken away by his music, and now that I understand more about who he really was, I’m even more taken.
