OK 2.5
Fun and full of great action, Green Lantern adds a new inter-planetary sci-fi evil twist to the run of the mill superhero yarn. Somehow I was not that impressed though; perhaps the concept was a bit too surreal for me. Not sure. The film departs from the usual in its use of a science fiction oriented story of good vs evil – on a galactic level. Somehow Ryan Reynolds ends up with the role of one of the solar-systems caretakers. Interesting affects result, and of course, he stands a good chance at getting the girl. Ok, but not great.

OK 2.5
Ryan Reynolds does as much as you’d expect with the role he was given. Decent chemistry with Blake Lively, but she isn’t the most dynamic actress out there.
