   Really Great 4.5

   This movie is the best period film I have ever seen. A truly great ensemble cast with steller performances all around. Dangerous Liasons is an emotional roller coaster that never apologizes for itself. Intelligent, witty, & down right mean at times, if you never considered watching a movie like this in your life, let this one be your first.

   John Malkovich…need I say more?

6. Female Stars Perfect 5.0

   Glenn Close…Strong, fierce, outstanding.
   Michelle Pfeiffer, the subtleties & emotion of her performance rightfully garnered her, her first oscar nod here.

7. Female Costars Perfect 5.0

   Uma! Her breakout perforamce was sweet, sexy, & everything you could ask for in a character like hers.

8. Male Costars Barely OK 2.0

   Ok, here is the main flaw of the movie. I don’t know how they managed to think Keanu Reeves would be good in a movie like this. Painful to watch at times when he’s on screen.

    Truly great. Amazing script. The score added perfectly to every scene. And the direction was right on. I felt Frears knew what he wanted on every take and pretty much how to get it.
